Within the Social Care Administration, approximately 1,200 committed employees work to provide support and care to those who need it in our municipality. The work takes place in elderly care, home care, disability services, social psychiatry, and individual and family care. Disability Services and Social Psychiatry is one of three departments within the Social Care Administration. The department is responsible for LSS housing, daily activities, housing support, short-term stays, and personal assistance. We are about 250 employees who, with great commitment, work with the individual's needs at the center and based on a belief in the individual's own abilities. We work purposefully to ensure our operations have high competence and quality. Adlercreutz is now seeking a flexible support assistant for a resource employment. Adlercreutz is located at the beautiful regiment in Ystad. The housing is spread over two floors, with group housing downstairs and a service housing upstairs. The housing works with Target Group 1. Within the department, we work on cooperation between workplaces and skills development for our employees. Therefore, we work in collaborative groups where we help each other cover the needs in our operations and share knowledge and ideas between workplaces. This means that as a future employee, you will have a primary workplace where you work the majority of your shifts, and some shifts may be performed at another workplace. Welcome to work with us! Then you might be our next employee! Job duties include pedagogical and practical support in daily living, care, medication management after delegation, and social documentation. Your task is to support our users who have complex and unique needs for security, clarity, and care. You are expected to work using low-arousal approach and clarifying pedagogy, where it is of great importance that each individual's confidence in their own abilities is strengthened. Working with support and service interventions for people with disabilities is a broad, varied, inspiring, and challenging job. The interventions provided should be performed with respect for each user's needs, wishes, integrity, participation, and self-determination. Support and service should be provided on an individual basis and tailored to each person to enable them to live like others with good quality of life and living conditions. QUALIFICATIONS For this position, we are looking for someone who is attentive, engaged, and has a genuine interest in working with people with disabilities. You should find it easy to collaborate, be proactive, and enjoy creating structure and security in others' daily lives. As a support assistant, you need to be responsible, flexible, and have a good ability to adapt to individual needs. To be qualified for the position, you must have: • Completed documented education from the Child and Recreation Program, Care Program, or other education that the employer deems equivalent. • Good computer skills and enjoy working with digital tools. • Since communication and documentation are central and important parts of the operation, the job requires good knowledge of the Swedish language, both verbally and in writing. • At least one year of work experience in the LSS area Meriting factors are: • Documented knowledge and work experience in LSS operations • Experience working in group housing and/or service housing • Experience working with the target group in service housing, especially focusing on comorbidity (e.g., combination of mental health issues and disability) • Theoretical knowledge and experience in designing clear communication support for people with low developmental levels • Knowledge and experience in applying low-arousal approach • Knowledge and experience with clarifying pedagogy, such as the TEACCH model • B Driver's License This position requires flexibility as it is a resource employment, and working hours and workplace may vary.
