Thermo Fisher Customer Seeking Process Engineer (at Adecco)

About the Assignment We are now seeking a driven and solution-oriented process engineer for an exciting assignment with Adecco's client Thermo Fisher in Uppsala. You will become part of a qualified team of 12 engineers with broad technical expertise. Together, you will support the production department in areas such as quality, development, and process improvement. You will work closely with R&D to integrate product and process knowledge and collaborate with technical project managers and validation managers to increase capacity, optimize processes, and drive productivity. Responsibilities • Perform root cause analysis for disruptions, deviations, and CAPA • Participate in risk management related to production processes • Implement changes to improve quality and capacity • Continuous improvement of processes and internal routines • Lead smaller activities and participate in larger production projects • Statistical evaluation of process parameters • Work on process development, including scaling up/down This is a consulting assignment via Adecco. We are looking for someone who can start the assignment on 2026-01-07, with the assignment expected to continue until 2027-01-31. Opportunity for extension. About You Qualifications • Master's degree in engineering or equivalent experience, preferably in chemistry, molecular biotechnology, mechanical engineering, or similar field • 3–10+ years of experience in similar roles • Experience with production according to ISO 13485 – both in laboratory and industrial scale • Competence in statistical process analysis, process validation, and cleaning of medical devices • Experience from production environments where technical projects and operations occur simultaneously • Fluent Swedish and English, both spoken and written Note: Due to the work environment, it is a requirement that you have no allergies.
