Job Responsibilities
As an Account Manager, you'll have a key role in driving and developing sales of Chemgroup's comprehensive chemical management solutions. You'll work with the entire sales process, from identifying new business opportunities and prospecting potential customers to leading negotiations and ensuring successful deliveries together with internal specialists.
In the role, you'll primarily focus on new customers in Swedish industry, where you'll build long-term relationships with decision-makers in manufacturing, defense, and transportation sectors. Your task is to understand customer processes and needs and demonstrate the value of Chemgroup's solutions that combine products, systems, and consulting services in chemical management.
You'll work closely with the sales manager and delivery team, ensuring a smooth transition from sales to implementation. The work involves both strategic sales with longer sales cycles and operational relationship-building with customers. You'll plan your own day and have freedom with responsibility, with ample opportunity to influence both your personal and Chemgroup's continued growth journey. The role is suitable for someone who thrives in an entrepreneurial environment where you can help develop processes, build customer relationships from scratch, and contribute to shaping the future sales organization. Travel within Sweden is included in the position, and you'll be based at the office in Linköping.
Education, Experience, and Personal Qualities
Requirements:
• At least three years of experience in B2B sales within industry or technical services
• Good negotiation skills and interest in building long-term customer relationships
• Class B driver's license
• Excellent knowledge of Swedish and English
Meriting:
• Experience from chemical-technical industry or sales of chemical products
• Post-secondary education in sales, technology, chemistry, or similar
• Experience selling complex solutions with both product and service content
