Link to the school: https://grundskola.stockholm/hittagrundskola/grundskola/abrahamsbergsskolan-f-9/ Your role Your responsibilities will include, among other things: • Collaborating and cooperating in work teams alongside teachers and after-school staff • Engaging in classroom activities during the school day • Planning, implementing, and evaluating activities based on national goals and guidelines • Tailoring your teaching to the needs, interests, and experiences of the students • Contributing to the students' development and learning through care combined with instruction • Teaching using a variety of methods, forms of expression, and learning environments • Being professional and service-oriented in communication with guardians Your qualifications and experience You have knowledge of the pedagogical mission of after-school programs in primary education and are well-versed in the curriculum, knowledge requirements, and other governing documents for after-school programs, preschool classes, and primary schools. In the role of teacher in the after-school program, you will be responsible for ensuring that the instruction is aligned with the Education Act, curriculum, and other national governing documents. In the student group you work with, there is an opportunity to teach music. You work from a full-day perspective where school, recess activities, and after-school care are equally important for students to achieve their goals. You have experience working with students with various functional variations, and we prefer that you have prior experience working in a special education group. You possess strong communication and collaboration skills with students, colleagues, and guardians. You are a responsible and confident individual who is eager to share your knowledge and experiences. You can lead and organize your work in collaboration with your colleagues in your team to create the best possible conditions for the students' entire school day. We work in teams, which requires good collaboration skills with other colleagues in the team. You should be a clear leader and have a holistic view of the students' time in school, as we work with integrated school/after-school activities. You are a licensed teacher in after-school programs with qualifications in music. Great emphasis is placed on personal qualities.
