We are growing and are looking for someone to work as a Platoon Leader in the Logistics Platoon.
311th Staff and Logistics Company
The 311th Staff and Logistics Company consists of company management, command platoon, logistics platoon, logistics support platoon, and medical platoon. The company's task is to establish and operate communications at the air base and to be responsible for logistics at the air base, such as transportation, fuel, catering, and medical care.
The Logistics Platoon consists of a fuel group for ground vehicles, a cooking group, and a mechanic group with expertise in vehicles, weapons, and generators. Overall, the platoon is responsible for the majority of the internal logistics at the air base.
All leadership positions within the company are career-preparatory for further service in the Armed Forces. There are great opportunities for development within the role through internal training and courses.
Main Responsibilities
As a Platoon Leader, your primary responsibility is to lead the various groups and ensure that the tasks assigned by higher command are accomplished, which includes meeting the most critical logistics needs of the entire air base, such as fuel, food, and technical services. This requires you to have a strong ability to plan and manage multiple tasks simultaneously, as the platoon's units have diverse functions and operate in different geographical locations. In the platoon leadership, you will have a deputy, two logistics officers, and a quartermaster who you lead and who support you in executing the platoon's tasks.
You are also responsible for ensuring that the personnel maintain and develop their competencies at both the individual and group levels within the various functions.
Your main tasks will also include:
- Managing your own staff.
- Planning and monitoring operations.
- Developing the platoon's capabilities.
- Personnel administration.
In the wartime organization, you will serve in a position determined in consultation with the commander based on your own experience and interests.
Qualifications
• Swedish citizen
• B driver's license
• Approved officer training (OF)
• Meets the Armed Forces' physical requirements (FM FysS)
Meritorious
• Military driver's license (Lptb, tptb, minibus, C and/or CE)
• Logistics experience within the Armed Forces
• Experience as a platoon/squad leader

As a person, you are meticulous and reliable. You have a high work capacity and can manage multiple tasks simultaneously. Furthermore, you possess good leadership qualities and can motivate and develop subordinate personnel. You are also empathetic, enjoy working in a team, and strive to grow together with others.
