As an employee at the 311th Staff and Logistics Company, you will serve at the 31st Air Base Battalion, the largest unit of the Helicopter Wing, and thus become a vital part of Sweden's defense. We are growing and seeking someone to work as Platoon Leader in the Medical Platoon.
311th Staff and Logistics Company
The 311th Staff and Logistics Company consists of company leadership, command platoon, supply platoon, logistics platoon, and medical platoon. The company's task is to establish and operate communications at the airbase and to be responsible for logistics at the airbase, such as transportation, fuel, catering, and medical care.
The Medical Platoon consists of a platoon leadership and two medical groups that operate together through a rear unit location and mobile with various types of medical vehicles.
All leadership positions in the company are career-preparatory for further service in the Armed Forces. There are significant opportunities for development within the function through internal training and courses.
Main Responsibilities
As the Medical Platoon Leader, you are responsible for leading the establishment of the unit location and for daily routine service, as well as supporting the company and battalion with defense medicine leadership. You are also responsible for reconnaissance of the assembly area for your unit and the helicopter landing site for the unit location. This requires a good understanding of the platoon's operations and equipment, as well as a high ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously, as the platoon operates both stationary and mobile with various tasks over time.
You are also responsible for ensuring that the personnel maintain and develop their competencies at both the individual and group levels.
Your main responsibilities will also include:
- Leadership of your own personnel.
- Planning and follow-up of operations.
- Development of the platoon's capabilities.
- Personnel administration.
In the war organization, you will serve in a position determined in consultation with the commander based on your experience and interests.
Qualifications
• Swedish citizen
• B driver's license
• Approved officer training (OF)
• Meets the Armed Forces' physical requirements (FM FysS)
Meritorious
• Military driver's license (Lptb, tptb, minibus, C and/or CE)
• Medical and/or logistics experience within the Armed Forces
• Experience as a platoon/troop leader
