The 3rd Helicopter Squadron operates at the Blekinge Air Wing in Ronneby. We are one of four squadrons and belong to the Helicopter Wing in Linköping. At the squadron in Ronneby, we have approximately 200 employees. Our unit is housed in modern facilities where the entire squadron is gathered in a shared building.
Effective January 1, 2026, the section will be part of the Flight Technical Unit led from Linköping.
About the Unit:
The Flight Technical Unit (FTE) within the Helicopter Wing is responsible for coordinating continued airworthiness management (Part M, CAMO) and flight workshop production (Part 145, MO Rear Maintenance) for rear maintenance within the entire Helicopter Wing. FTE management and staff are located in Linköping Malmen, with local Flight System Sections and Flight Workshops located in Luleå, Linköping, and Ronneby.
Primary Work Tasks:
The Flight Workshop Section in Ronneby is being established and will consist of 20 civilian employees divided into 2 service teams and a warehouse/material function. The section's task is to perform rear (Base) maintenance, repairs, and modifications on HKP14 (NH90), and also provide support to front-line (Line) maintenance when needed. As a manager with personnel responsibility, you will independently lead the flight maintenance service in the maintenance section in consultation with management in Linköping and the company leadership in Ronneby. This involves being responsible for personnel planning, recruitment, budget, result tracking, skills development, salary setting, and planning of maintenance resources within the flight workshop. You will be war-placed. The work involves some travel within Sweden and may include work abroad.
Qualifications:
• Suitable leadership training and personnel management experience
• Technical background or good technical understanding
• Good ability to express oneself verbally and in writing in both English and Swedish
• Class B driver's license
Meritorious Qualifications:
• Good experience and knowledge of flight maintenance service management (SE EMAR 145 or EASA 145)
• Experience working in military aviation (RML)
• Experience as a flight technician/mechanic
• EMAR 66 Certificate Cat. B1/B2/C
• Budget work from revenue-funded operations
• Basic HUMAN FACTORS and organizational procedures training
• Basic military aviation management training (LML) or equivalent competence
• IT systems such as FENIX, PRIO, VIDAR, etc.
• Knowledge of maintenance planning
