We are now seeking two licensed psychologists for the Personality Syndrome Clinic!
About the Personality Syndrome Clinic
The clinic is part of our outpatient section and is located in pleasant premises near Skogskyrkogården metro station. The clinic serves patients with emotionally unstable personality syndrome (EIPS) and is developing treatment models for other personality disorders. Our mission is to conduct in-depth assessments and treatment for the target group. We offer a wide range of treatments and continuously evaluate and develop our operations with patient safety in focus. The clinic staff includes specialist psychiatrists, specialist nurses, physiotherapist, counselor, psychologists, psychotherapists, nursing assistants, and medical secretaries.
Management consists of a medically responsible physician, unit manager, and deputy unit manager.
Qualifications
We are seeking two experienced licensed psychologists with expertise in evidence-based psychological treatment, both individually and in groups. Experience working with patients with personality disorders is required.
One position requires experience and competence in working with the DBT method. In addition to standard psychological work, you will be part of our DBT team, which currently consists of 6 therapists.
For the second position, special knowledge in one of the evidence-based treatment models included in the EIPS care process (DBT, MBT, TFT, GPM, or schema therapy) is meritorious.
Your work as a psychologist
Your work will involve psychiatric assessment, in-depth diagnostics, and psychological treatment based on recommendations according to SLSO's care processes for adult psychiatry. The clinic primarily follows the EIPS care process. The role also includes supervising psychology candidates and PTP psychologists. Therefore, at least three years of psychological work experience is meritorious.
You will be part of one of our treatment teams. In the treatment team, you will contribute to care planning, collaboration with internal and external care providers, and follow-up of patients for whom you are the primary care contact. The team consists of various professionals to create a shared understanding of the patient's care needs.
