Särnmark is one of Sweden's oldest companies in personal assistance and was founded by the current owners in the early 1990s. We work based on a clear and explicit value foundation, and our primary drive is to create the best conditions for personalized personal assistance tailored to each individual's unique needs. Särnmark currently has over 3,500 employees, with customers and staff located throughout Sweden. Särnmark's main office is in Sundbyberg, but we also have offices in other parts of Sweden.
About Charlie
Charlie is 1.5 years old – small in body but with significant support needs. Despite a tough start in life, he touches the hearts of everyone around him – a fighter with a quiet strength that captures the heart of everyone who gets to know him. He has a neurological diagnosis and needs support with everything in daily life, requiring extensive around-the-clock supervision. He communicates in his own small, gentle way – so you as an assistant need to be attentive, observant, and able to read subtle signals.
Working with Charlie is not about words or speed, but about presence, care, and the small moments that mean everything – holding hands, taking a walk, reading a book, singing a song, and simply being together. Your work will not always be rewarded with words or smiles – but in the small moments, in the calm, and in the growing bond, everything is there.
We are now seeking an assistant for part-time night shifts and, if needed, daytime shifts.
Who are you?
We are looking for someone with experience working with children with special needs – perhaps you are a trained nursing assistant, childcare worker, have worked in LSS or have otherwise gained knowledge, patience, and a comforting presence. You need to be sensitive, warm, empathetic, and ready to become an important part of a small child's big world.
