Description
The Swedish Church in Falun consists of five parishes that together form the Falun Parish.
We have approximately 70 employees in parish activities and cemetery administration. Falun is a rich cultural and historical area dating back at least a thousand years, and through the Falu Mine has created a world heritage site. Falun offers beautiful nature, a historic mine, a vibrant music and theater life, great opportunities for outdoor activities, countryside, and a living city center.
We are now seeking two conference and catering coordinators for our parish.

The position is part of the Falun Parish with a large team of diverse competencies. We enjoy working together and create conditions for meaningful activities for all our parish members and visitors of all ages. You will primarily be stationed at Kristinegården, Falun.
Work Tasks
You will book, prepare, and serve for external rentals and internal activities in our various parish centers around Falun. You will meet people in different stages of life, such as funeral receptions. You will guide people doing work training in the organization. You are responsible for kitchen and service-related support during various activities. Baking and simple cooking are also part of the tasks.
You will manage bookings and invoicing in digital systems. You will handle food and have basic knowledge of food hygiene. In other words, you will support events, manage lunch/coffee orders, and provide technical support for conference equipment.
Some evening and weekend work will be required.
Who are you?
You have:
• Hotel, restaurant, or food program at high school level and/or professional experience in catering, restaurant, institutional catering, or similar service. Professional experience with similar tasks is meritorious.
• Training in self-monitoring and food safety.
• Good Swedish language skills in speech and writing are required as the work involves communication in personal interactions and via phone and email.
• Good IT skills with experience in various systems and knowledge of Microsoft 365.
You are service-oriented and social, can work both independently and in a team, care about maintaining good relationships, and enjoy juggling multiple tasks. You have excellent planning skills, are efficient, and can reprioritize when unexpected tasks arise. In your work, you are thorough, engaged, and have initiative with a strong sense of responsibility. You are happy to contribute to digital development.

Conditions
Previous knowledge of the Swedish Church as an organization is meritorious. Of course, you share the Swedish Church's values and are a member. A driver's license and access to a car are required.
