About the Position Our client is growing and now needs to reinforce with a skilled support technician! As a 1st line support technician at our client in Malmö, you will work closely with 2nd line and other functions in the organization. The customer is always in focus, and you will always provide them with the best possible service. Start date is by agreement. Your Main Responsibilities As a 1st line support technician, you will handle customer cases both via phone and email. You generally have a varying pace as your daily work is driven by customer-unique events, and everything you do must maintain high quality and service level. It's crucial that you are reliable, proactive, and value good customer relationships. As this is first-line support with a large number of customers with different contracts and SLA levels, it's important that you are skilled at troubleshooting thoroughly when required. It's also important to follow established escalation routines when they exist. The administrative part is significant, and documenting cases is a natural part of daily work. A genuine interest in IT will facilitate your work every day. The work will be intense and challenging, but you'll be surrounded by lovely colleagues who are quick to laugh! Working hours are primarily daytime between 8 AM-5 PM Monday to Friday. You will also work evening shifts one week (including weekends) approximately every other month, which rotates in the team based on team size. Who Are You? We prefer candidates with post-secondary IT education, preferably from a vocational college. You can also apply if you have acquired equivalent IT skills independently or if your drive to learn and work ethic is high, as these are two extremely important things for us. Perhaps you studied IT in high school and subsequently worked in similar roles, which is also highly valued. However, a requirement is that you speak and write both English and Swedish fluently. It is meritorious if you have worked with and/or have knowledge of Active Directory, Windows operating systems, Linux, Basic Networking (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP), Case Management Systems, troubleshooting, mobile devices, printer management, and Office365.
