In the Investigation and Protection Unit, we work with qualified intake, investigation, and follow-up work according to current legislation. BBiC (Children's Needs in Focus) and Signs of Safety permeate all our work, as we explore networks and their own solutions together with families, always with the child's safety and best interests as our starting point. The Investigation and Protection Unit consists of an intake team, two investigation groups, a high-intensity investigation group, and the social services' domestic violence group. We share this with our colleagues in the preventive unit and the Family Support and Foster Care unit, which enables close and inspiring collaboration. We have expanded the unit so that our social workers have good conditions for meaningful work with fewer cases per position, and we are seeking a Senior Social Worker. You drive processes forward by being structured, curious, and brave, and you support your group to do the same – together with the unit's four other Senior Social Workers and our two operational unit managers. Your Assignment As a Senior Social Worker, your primary responsibility is to lead and distribute work and function as an easily accessible support, both individually and in groups. You will represent cases in the committee and administrative court. Our Senior Social Workers each lead a work group of five to seven social workers and have a comprehensive joint responsibility for leadership within the unit. As a Senior Social Worker, you have a coordinating role and work to ensure good collaboration with external and internal operations. You plan, monitor the external environment, and develop our operations at the unit level and the operational area level, together with employees, Senior Social Worker colleagues, and unit managers. You provide methodological support and take responsibility for introducing new colleagues together with the unit manager and colleagues. You work from current guidelines and ensure that the work is legally secure, of good quality, and resource-efficient. In your group, you will have social workers who are both new to the assignment and those who have worked in public authority for many years. Requirements for the Position · Social Work degree · B driver's license · Experience with public authority in social services Meriting · Leadership training, BBiC, Signs of Safety, evidence-based methods, MI, ViNR, or honor-related violence or oppression · Experience in social work with children and youth A background check, police record extract, and study transcript will be conducted before employment.
