We are now seeking additional on-call assistants for our client in Strängnäs. The schedule includes waking hours at all times of the day, with separate shifts for day and night.
About the Position
Our client is an 8-year-old girl with extensive care needs. She is cheerful and social and requires support with all aspects of her daily life. She enjoys music, dancing, and walks. During the day, you will accompany the girl to school and participate in her lessons. After school, most of the work will take place at the girl’s home with her family, so it is important that you are good at communicating, have a positive and respectful demeanor, and possess strong empathetic skills.
The girl needs assistance with everything in her daily life; she does not have spoken language but expresses herself through sounds and facial expressions. She uses a feeding tube and requires respiratory support, including a cough machine and oxygen at night.
The work is based on respect for the individual's self-determination and privacy. A thorough and clear introduction will be provided upon employment. A car and a driver's license are required to commute to and from work.
Since the client does not have spoken language and has difficulty expressing herself, it is essential that you are creative, attentive, and sensitive to subtle signals. Experience in personal assistance is advantageous, but personal suitability and care experience will be prioritized. Please include in your application your availability for the position.
As the girl is under 18 years old, a criminal record extract must be presented before employment.
