We are currently seeking a personal assistant as needed for a secure and positive 27-year-old man with a strong interest in sports. The client lives with the very rare diagnosis of FOP (Fibrodysplasia Ossificans Progressiva), which means that his body needs to be handled with great care in all situations. The work involves providing physical support in daily life – monitoring the client's general condition and well-being, as well as assisting with various activities based on the client's unique needs. You will need to be his extra arms and legs, assisting with everything from personal hygiene, lifting assistance, cooking, cleaning, and other tasks. As an assistant, it is important that you are observant and have the ability to stay one step ahead – to prevent and avoid risks, thereby contributing to a safe daily life. You should be mature in your interactions and confident in handling both simpler and more demanding situations. You will be working both in a team and independently. The client appreciates assistants who are direct and clear in their communication, both verbally and through body language. Good physical strength is important for the assistant as there will be some transfers involved. The work is based on respect for the individual's self-determination and integrity.
