At Iustitia Assistans AB, we are looking for a new addition to our team as a personal assistant for an 8-year-old girl outside Eskilstuna. The position is on an as-needed basis, such as during vacations or sick leave of regular assistants.

The person you will be working with is a wonderful eight-year-old with extensive care needs. She wants someone who can enable her to dance in her wheelchair, sing, swing high, and have long conversations (which happen in her own way) between the daily care routines. Nights involve constant monitoring to ensure her safety. She ALWAYS needs someone in her immediate vicinity. She loves and requires closeness, as it makes her feel secure!
About You
You will be working in a family home, so it is important that you are good at communicating, have a kind and respectful demeanor, and possess strong empathetic skills.
You must NOT be a smoker.
You will work according to a detailed implementation plan.
As an applicant, you should be loyal, flexible, and mature in your approach to various situations, both demanding and less demanding.
Since the client does not have spoken language and has difficulty expressing herself, it is essential that you are creative, attentive, and sensitive to small signals.
The work is based on respect for the individual's self-determination and integrity.
Experience in personal assistance is required, but personal suitability and care experience will weigh more heavily.
You must be able to adapt your pedagogical approach to the individual.
A driver's license is not a requirement but is an advantage.
