We are now a Super Municipality! JOB RESPONSIBILITIES Do you want to lead us? We are seeking a Senior Social Worker for the Family Law Unit, where the role involves being 50% Senior Social Worker and 50% Family Law Secretary. The Family Law Unit is part of the Placement Unit, which also includes foster care secretaries, contact secretaries, and child secretaries. You will be responsible for daily management and support for case workers and developing the operations together with the unit manager. The Senior Social Worker role involves providing close, daily support to the social workers in your work group. You will lead and distribute daily work and provide method guidance to employees. You will conduct regular case supervision and method development, both individually and in groups. You will represent the group in various contexts and introduce new employees. You will work with the unit manager on development issues, processes, collaboration matters, monitor the external environment, and ensure the transition to the new Social Services Act. Work to quality assure work and develop and/or adjust routines and guidelines as needed. As a Senior Social Worker, you need to be well-versed in legislation, able to work independently, and remain calm in pressured situations. You should be able to coach case workers in their assignments to create development and independence. You will independently handle current family law cases and drive your processes forward. You should be able to plan and structure your work, have good interpersonal skills, and of course, focus on the best interests of the child. QUALIFICATIONS Do you have that little extra? Requirements for the position include a social work degree and experience in family law. You have personal drive for development, are positive, and have the ability to inspire others. You can create calm in stressful situations and prefer solutions over problems. To effectively lead and distribute work, you need to be responsible, structured, and have good planning skills. Experience in driving projects and managing group activities is meritorious, as is experience working with SES (Cooperation after Separation). You should be proficient in the Treserva operational system and view digitalization as a natural part of work, being comfortable using various digital tools. Your foundation is the ability to listen and show respect and care for others, and to collaborate to achieve the best results. In your role as Senior Social Worker, you will represent the employer and become a role model for your colleagues. Personal suitability will be considered during the appointment process.
