We are seeking a Senior Social Worker for the Children and Youth Unit. We are a positive and stable work group with experienced social workers, reception secretaries, foster care secretaries, family law secretaries, two senior social workers, family treatment staff in open care, field social workers, and our unit manager.
As a Senior Social Worker, you will be responsible for case management and team leadership. You will manage case distribution, case follow-up, provide guidance, and be responsible for onboarding new employees. You will work both individually and in teams, and when needed, assist the unit manager in development and quality improvement work. The position will primarily focus on open care and foster care services.
We work with children's needs at the center and collaborate both internally and externally. We have close cooperation and short decision-making paths with our own resources. You will receive competence development through external supervision and training. We have high ambitions for continuously improving our collective competence. QUALIFICATIONS
We are seeking someone with a social work degree and a genuine interest in working with children/youth and families.
The position requires previous experience in social work, and it is desirable to have several years of experience in child and/or youth administrative work after your degree. Experience in leading groups within child and/or youth administrative work is meritorious. Experience in foster care work and municipal open care services is also advantageous.
We are looking for a candidate who is confident, stable, and comfortable in a leadership role. In your work, you are relationship-oriented and enjoy collaboration within your own team and with other organizations and agencies.
As a Senior Social Worker, it is important that you are flexible in your work and can easily adapt to changing circumstances and adjust your work methods to meet the organization's needs and goals. You should be self-motivated and able to plan, organize, and prioritize your work efficiently. Since the work involves extensive communication and documentation, it is a requirement to express yourself well in Swedish, both verbally and in writing. In this recruitment, significant emphasis will be placed on your personal qualities.
